After researching the photography of Surreal artists Man Ray, Maurice Tabard and Salvador Dali, students planned and created their own Surrealist Portraits using analogue SLR film cameras. Some students experimented with techniques including double exposure, combination printing and montage and were forced to think creatively to problem solve their 'stage' or scene to create the desired Surreal effect.
